Well Mermaids,
I have been diving in and out of the waters...
Waters in the sea, life and my soul.
Honestly... I still have no clue where I stand,
Or if I am even standing at all.
Perhaps I am just treading water.
I have kept up my shell picking, for it lets my brain go free...
My kids and I have been trying to make the best of a new home...
The State of NJ putting the screws to me...
Having ZERO help at all...
Losing all their toys, furniture, basically everything.
So with the little I have...
I try to make us happy.
Whether it is a day fishing...
And literally catching our dinner...
Or just being plain goofballs on the boat.
That is what we are doing to keep smiles on our faces,
And not let the hard knocks of a screwed up Family Court
Control freak individuals...
We may not have much...
And get thrown a new wrench daily...
But we go to sleep each night and see a gorgeous sunset,
look at our beautiful stars,
And know we have each other.
I mean...
We learned a little something along the way...
We can tread water a little longer right?
Can't wait to catch up with you all!!!

Your fav Mermaid....

You are so right! Karma has no deadline. I'm sure they (or he) will get theirs (his) in due time. You have done a great job making lemonade with all of the lemons you have been given the last couple of years. Everything will be ok. You just have to keep believing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Della~ I am trying!!!
DeleteSo glad you are making the most of your surrounds and arE finding happy times in the things that really matter.

Oh my Dear Cricket... my Prayers are with you and your little ones. I've dealt with Family Court for many years and have never received any help from them either in our State for the care of Children or the G-Children. I'm fortunate that The Man took on all of the responsibility of providing for Children he didn't Father but took on as his own since their bio Dads were not responsible about financial provision at all, never received a dime in fact, so I 'feel ya' on that one. I'm so glad you dropped by for a Visit and to catch up... we've been 'Going Thru' as well... The Man just had his 4th Back Surgery and is still trying to Recover fromt he Stroke he had last November... the VA has yet to provide any Physical Therapy for either so we'll see how that goes... that's another 'System' that makes me crazy to deal with! *LOL* The G-Son got Mono and is recovering slowly from that... and the wee Princess has had a severe Respiratory Infection she's still recovering from... so I've been playing Florence Nightengale and trying to hold head above water and not allow my Mood to Tank with the various stresses it all brings. I have my occassional Blog Rant, so much cheaper than Therapy since I still have no decent Health Insurance. *LOL* But on the Positive Side I FINALLY will be getting my Showroom at the Antique Mall I'm at so I Hope to get a secondary Income again to bail us out of debt that prolonged Illness and raising a Family of 5 on a fixed Disability Income has created. Lets Hang in there GF... the Lord Sees and He will not forsake or fail us... Keep the Faith and keep Connected to your Inner Circle who provide Encouragement and Friendship during this most difficult time you're moving through... you will come out Victorious on the other side of it... Huge Hugs and Healing Energy from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
