Welcome to the 2011 One World One Heart Blogger Event hosting for the 5th year
by Lisa Swifka
of A Whimsical Bohemian!
One World One Heart is a worldwide event for bloggers. It gives all those who blog a chance to meet and mingle and form connections with those they may not have otherwise met from all over the world. In the past 4 years this event has grown to over 1,000 participants with lasting friendships (and even one love connection) formed along the way. Think of it as a GIGANTIC open house allowing you to travel without ever leaving your home........going from blog to blog (in various countries) seeing the wonder each one has created and meeting all the fabulous people behind those blogs. As a bonus each blogger participant will offer up a "door prize or prizes"....just for dropping by, saying hello and seeing their world. It's really that easy."
So for those of you who don't know me....
My name is Cricket, yes my real name!
I really am a nurse.. I used to be in the OR,
Now I do Psych/Forensics... in the Psych end..
I work for the States largest Psych lockdown Facilty..
which led me to some serious medical issues, you might see reference to
in older posts...
Also... I really am a GYPSY...but my love of the ocean..and anything to do with it..changed it to GYPSEA....
I decided that I want to be a mermaid when I grow up..
and in the meantime...I scour the shores.. look for pirates..
shoot pics..collect as many shells and pieces of sea glass I can handle
in a shot!
So are you ready my fellow mermaids
To come with me on a magic ride.....?
For lucky gypsea #1...
Love this Life sterling silver necklace...
and for #2...
hand soldered fun/sun necklace!
The rules are quite easy...
Leave a comment on this post..
and remember this is a worldwide event..
Ends 2/17/2011
Have fun!!
xoxo
Cricket

Hello Cricket! What a beautiful blog you have- and all the seashells~ I LOVE them! I'm cracking up about the sunglasses post- mine won't ever be left/found on a beach, but will certainly end up either 1) taken by my students for their pretend play or 2) hot glue-gunned to some other item by accident in my crafty nook!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you'll visit me at my blogs, Kindergarten's 3 R's and Twigs and Tulle where I'm giving away pattern blocks and a cute mini-bunting! I'm looking forward to visiting more of your blog- Happy OWOH!

Gypsea, I too am a nurse and I live 5 minutes off the Pacific ocean. I always love to see what interests other nurses have. Aren't they a wonderful way to express yourself and get out some of the pent up feelings from work! LOL
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed peeking around in your blog and hope that you will have time to visit mine also.

What great necklaces!
ReplyDeleteYou made me remember when I used to take my daughters mermaid spotting along the seashore. What a beautiful name for a mermaid too. We always kept a wary eye out for pirates and many's a time we had to make a run for it lest we be caught and forced into a life of piracy on the seas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to enter your giveaway Cricket, please feel free to drop by my OWOH post :)
