Awhile back I did a post on one of my most fabulous, favorite stores
in Pass-a-Grille...
and I mentioned that the owner had opened up a sister store
in St. Pete's Beach called "Tropicals"
Well...
you never saw a happier mermaid,
mermaid shopping when I entered this funky
gypsea lovin boutique!
MERMAIDS EVERYWHERE!!
See that beauty above..?
She is hand carved out of a delicate wood...
and her sister is right here...
Yes..for a mere $575.
You can have one or the other...
then as my eyes start to wander...
Another beauty..
I think my head started to hurt..
my brain was spinning...
my heart palpating...
I mean.. I wanted every single one!
But I had to pull the reins in.
It would have been pointless to drag these beauties
out of theie element...all the way to NJ..
Just to eventually bring them back down when I move.
But oh...how badly I wanted just a little something...
I was a good girl I must say.
That doesn't mean I am going to stay that way though!
I am hit with rain this am.
So maybe I will be able to find a
"little" mermaid something or another while I am out and about..
I will let you know!

Oh My Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful share this morning. I love the mermaids, each one so unique and telling her story. They can take us to many areas of the ocean floor. The copper one with the balls beneath her stole my heart. She is just gorgeous, while the cream one has such a story with her shell body. I love that her fins are made from the shells as thus her tail. So pretty.
I can't wait for you to come back. I love my turquoise heart and am need of more necklaces. I hope you create something with a little mermaid or shell. Be thinking. Pleeezzzz. That chain is the perfect chain for me. More like that. I LOVE it. I can't thank you enough for a more beautiful piece. It is my favorite.
So happy you are getting a little shopping in while you are there.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
Love all the mermaids. I am going to have to search for some. I have also wanted to paint one. Will have to think on that one.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place to browse but I'm afraid I would have to buy too. Cute mermaid post.

ReplyDeleteI saw your name on Elena´s blog so I hope you don´t mind a little visit. Never really looked at mermaids before, however the ones you show are beautiful. And I know the feeling, when I am in a shop filled with stuff I like I have to pull myself back because I get a sudden rush of blood to my head and my eyes start to glaze over....
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful shop and those mermaids are gorgeous!! I hope you find something for yourself to bring back now and then when you are back down there, those lovelies belong with you! :)
