Blue Monday...Blue Skies...Blue H2O

Hey all you gypsea's..

Hope you had  fabulous weekend, 

I finally went beach side to test out the back,

the foot with only 1/2 feeling left and so on.

But sad to say... this mermaid can no longer go

hours and hours on end and scour...

But I did get in enough time to get a few scores...

With the blue water...

Baby seagulls in a forming tide pool...

Awesome shot due to some high winds..

See...?

The mini pirate and I got to hunting!

He also served as my watch dog for any holes in the sand 

that I may not see, 

and we know, I don't want any of that!

So, one of our first signs, was the usual clear/white sea glass.

Now is the time for the snails..(Moonstones) to start appearing..

And then to my utmost surprise...

What do you think I came across?

I was shocked!

Yes!! A sand dollar!

In New Jersey!!

Not as pretty as the ones I find in Florida,

but just that we found one here made up jump for joy!

So as the pirate and I finished up in the water and back onto the sand...

We nicknamed it the Day of the Dead, due to all the washed up horseshoe crabs.

Then I stumble upon another of my favorite beachy treasures...

Tell me that is not the coolest piece EVER!!!!

So by the time I knew I needed to rest this achy back..

Here are a few of my scores.

That is BLACK seaglass!

Ahhh.. just looking at them makes me happy!

So stay tuned, this coming weekend will be my last at the 

Jersey Shore.

Cause this mermaid is finally heading south!!!
Yippee!!

Happy Pink..It's been way too long!

Still healing and trying to make the best of it.

And if I am lucky enough I may be able to find 

some treasures....

Sand & Sea Sunday's

Hello there gypsea's!

Another Sunday of Sun,Sand and Sea.

But guess what?

All season I could not find hardly any of my favorite 

treasures to collect.

Can you guess what?

Last season I found bucket fulls long the Jersey Shore...

This year..

Practically nada!

Last season I scored in all different colors, shapes,

eras....

purples..

browns...

white, clears...

large ones..

Soft greens..

pale blues..

deeper violets..

Yes, I would find tons!!

Even Cobalt. this year I scoured day in and day out...

And still..Maybe a piece here or there.

What happened this year?

who is behind this torture?

Where did it all go?

All I wanted was atleast ONE bucket full this year.
This is really bothering me!

Sand and Sea Sundays

Welcome Gypsea's ...

I am going to apologize in advance for a short 

post..but my hours this weekend ended up being 18 or 19 per

day.vs. 14-16 and they were hellish ones!

But... on the brighter side, 

I will share with you some awesome finds I found this past week...

SEA GLASS!!!

All along the Jersey Shore, I found tons...

And in many different shapes and colors..

I thought this one was cool because of the embossing on it!

And this one simply for the color!

Some of my Master finds, I will post when I get home around 11:30 tonight.

A handful in an hours walk!

My mermaid with her find of the day!

Mama Mermaids find!

And just one of the many jars we toss them into until we have time to separate them!

Sea Glass with Good Life Wednesday

Maybe I'm being a little selfish...

I mean, I have been back and forth to Florida..

Enjoying the sunshine..

Picking the most amazing shells...

But I miss my Sea Glass.

I think this mermaid is due for a trip

down to her cove...

Not only for some treasure hunting

But some breathing room and sea therapy...

one large of some pickings...
